How to service and repair the fuel filler hose on Mercury Grand Marquis?

It will be necessary to pull out the battery, drain the tank and pull out screws to repair the fuel filler hose. Lift the vehicle, take off the LH rear wheel and disconnect the vapor tube. Draw out the filler pipe and lubricate it, making sure that the screws have been put back in place and the vapor hose has been reconnected.
