  A: Start the fuel tank unit service process by unmounting the fuel tank. The pressure transducer connector basis of the fuel tank's upper rear corner needs to be disconnected. Before removing Fuel Pump bolting from the mounting flange area ensure complete cleaning of that space while appropriately managing the fuel pump to protect the float arm and filter components. You should dispose of the fuel pump mounting gasket. Start installation by cleaning the flange of the fuel pump and its surface on the fuel tank before adding a fresh fuel pump mounting gasket to the flange. Place the fuel pump inside the fuel tank before installing the bolts and connecting the fuel pressure transducer while tightening the fuel pump bolts according to the following sequence: 1-3-5 and 2-4-6. Finally, reinstall the fuel tank.
