  The transmission support crossmember service and maintenance should start by hoisting the vehicle and setting it in neutral. Start the procedure by disconnecting both terminal connectors from H02S sensor and catalyst monitor followed by removing RH exhaust flange bolts. You should loosen the exhaust clamp before taking off the RH Exhaust Pipe. For the LH side service remove the LH H02S sensor connector and the LH catalyst monitor connector followed by unscrewing the LH exhaust flange bolts then easing the exhaust clamp and taking off the LH exhaust pipe. When working with the transmission begin by taking out the rear transmission insulator nuts while using a suitable transmission jack to install it. The procedure starts with removing bolts from both side crossmember areas followed by removing the mounting bolts which secure the parking brake cable bracket. Move this bracket off to the side. The crossmember needs careful prying from its crossmember pocket to prevent structural damage since it has a press fit configuration. Begin by lowering the RH crossmember side and followed by the LH side until the crossmember can be removed. The first step involves positioning the LH side of the crossmember into the pocket after which you should loosely install the bolts before moving onto the RH side. Reinstall the parking brake cable bracket after tightening both left-hand and right-hand crossmember bolts. Lower the transmission onto the crossmember and fasten the rear transmission insulator nuts before taking away the transmission jack. Place the RH Catalytic Converter assembly before securing the clamp and proceed with installing the RH exhaust flange nuts followed by tightening the clamp. The RH sensor connector and the RH catalyst monitor connector need to be attached before securing the LH catalytic converter assembly into position but without using clamp force. Complete the installation of LH exhaust flange nuts while duplowsen the LH exhaust clamp. Afterwards connect the LH H02S sensor and the LH catalyst monitor connector. Finally, lower the vehicle.
