Reinstall the parking brake cable bracket after tightening both left-hand and right-hand crossmember bolts. Lower the transmission onto the crossmember and fasten the rear transmission insulator nuts before taking away the transmission jack. Place the RH catalytic converter assembly before securing the clamp and proceed with installing the RH exhaust flange nuts followed by tightening the clamp. The RH catalytic converter assembly requires positioning without tightening the clamp while installing both RH exhaust flange nuts followed by final clamp torque. The installation of the LH catalytic converter assembly continues by connecting sensor and monitor connectors followed by clamps positioning without clamp tightening. Begin by installing the LH exhaust flange nuts, tightening the LH exhaust clamp; simultaneously attach the LH HO2S sensor and catalyst monitor connectors before the vehicle height reduction.

Starting the service and repair of the transmission support crossmember requires the vehicle to be set to neutral while it stands on a hoist. Position the RH catalytic converter assembly without tightening the clamp before instantiating RH exhaust flange nuts followed by proper tightening of the RH exhaust clamp. Before the final installation proceed by connecting RH sensor connectors followed by positioning LH assembly then adding LH flange nuts and finishing with clamp tightening. Complete the installation by connecting both LH HO2S sensor and catalyst monitor connectors when the vehicle is at its lowest position.

Disconnect the RH H02S sensor connector and the RH catalyst monitor connector.

Position the LH catalytic converter assembly, install the LH exhaust flange nuts, and tighten the LH exhaust clamp.
