How to service the windshield washer pump and reservoir on Mercury Grand Marquis?

In order to service the windshield washer pump and reservoir, unbolt the air cleaner assembly and take the pump and reservoir out then store them away. Gather the fluid securely, remove hoses and electrical connectors and take out the pump. To re-install, use the reservoir then power up the pump. Installation is the reverse of the process of removal.
