How to service the blower motor resistor on Mercury Mariner?

Removal of the blower motor resistor In order to change the blower motor resistor, remove the right-hand A-pillar bottom trim first. Next, remove the electrical connector of the blower resistor. Pry out the two screws that connect the blower motor resistor and pull it out. Installation of the new resistor is only a matter of reversing the steps.
