How to Service the Camshaft Position Sensor on Mercury Mariner?

In order to service the camshaft position (CMP) sensor, disconnect electrical connector, remove securing bolt and remove sensor. Install the new sensor to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) and check the seal of the O-ring, lubricating it with clean engine oil. undo the removing process, and install it.
