How to service the Wiper Pivot and mounting arm on Mercury Milan?

The service process for wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft requires starting with removal of the upper cowl panel grille. Disconnect the electrical connector for the wiper motor as the second step. Unfasten the two bolts retaining the windshield wiper mounting arm before removing the assembly along with the pivot shaft. Installation demands tightening the bolts to 5 Nm (44 lb-in) then proceeding with the reverse order of removal.
