  A: Service on the right-hand exhaust manifold begins with hoisting the vehicle in neutral gear position. You must first uninstall the Y-pipe from both converters and the grille from the cowl panel after which you should disconnect the electrical connector leading to the windshield wiper motor. First remove the bolts from the cowl top panel before taking out the three heat shield nuts and right-hand heat shield. You need to discard the exhaust manifold, remove its six retaining nuts and remove the right-hand exhaust manifold together with its used gasket. The right-hand exhaust manifold installation requires a new gasket before securing it with six nuts using a specified torque value at 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). Fasten the right-hand heat shield with three nuts keeping them at 10 Nm (89 inch lbs) torque then reinstall the cowl top panel and secure its bolts at 6 Nm (53 inch lbs). The windshield wiper motor electrical connector should be reattached after which the user should install the cowl panel grille followed by the dual converter Y-pipe.
