How to Service and Repair the Upper EGR Tube on Mercury Mountaineer?

Service of the EGR tube begins by taking out the EGR valve while removing the air cleaner outlet tube. The next step is to let go of the accessory drive band tension followed by placing it to the side. Drive forward the engine accessory bracket after you remove the bolt which fastens it and the bolts secured to the engine accessory bracket. You should then remove the last bolt before extracting the upper EGR pipe. Believe the O-ring seal requires replacement with a fresh one if necessary. After finishing the installation steps follow the reverse order of removal.
