How to Service and Repair the Vapor Canister on Mercury Mountaineer?

The evaporative emission control canister is fixed by removing the vehicle from the hoist and then setting it to neutral. Disconnect battery, do not use open flames and disassemble the fuel tank to reach the canister. The process of installation is also reversed to install, lubricate hoses and perform a leak test to verify that everything is running fine.
