Both outboard upper arm bolts need to face forward so the wheel remains protected before you discard the outboard hardware and install the new bolts at 275 Nm torque to curb height. You must remove the sway bar link components such as nut, grommet, stud, and link assembly before discarding the nut and grommet while tightening the new link assembly to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.) at curb height position. For installation, insert new nuts to a tightness of 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) after eliminating and discarding the four sway bar bracket nuts. First, detach the sway bar brackets and follow by the bushings and lastly remove the four bracket studs. Guide the front bracket studs down and slide them toward the rear of the vehicle while moving the back bracket studs toward the front.
