How to remove and replace the rear brake disc on Mercury Sable?

Start the procedure to replace and remove the rear brake disc by removing first wheel and tire components. Avoid suspending the caliper from the brake hose because such action could damage it. Cable caliper anchor plate bolts should be removed along with their disposal before moving the brake caliper anchor plate aside. Install the anchor plate bolts at 110 Nm while tightening them (81 lb-ft). You need to do away with and throw out the brake disc screw afterward which needs a torque setting at 21 Nm (15 lb-ft) upon assembly. For completion of installation reverse the earlier procedures by using two new brake caliper anchor plate bolts.
