The next step entails separating the speed control servo electrical connector after depressing the connector tab. Push the retaining tab of the speed control cable cap to release it. The cap can then be turned counterclockwise before pulling it away from the servo housing. The speed control cable requires disconnecting through spring release of its retainer while moving the core wire end away from the speed control servo pulley.
