How to service the ignition coil for the Flex Fuel system on Mercury Sable?

When servicing the ignition coil to the Flex Fuel system, the ignition coil has to be pulled out of the bracket where it is housed and the various connections have to be disconnected. Disconnect engine control sensor wire harness, disassemble diverter valve control solenoid, and take off ignition coil mounting bracket. Installation is reversed.

How to service the ignition coil on Mercury Sable?

In order to service the ignition coil, remove the spark plug wires and electrical connector, and then remove the coil by removing the bolts. Wipe the coil towers using a wet cloth. Installation To install it, attach the spur gears of the spark plugs to the appropriate terminals and undo the steps of removal.
