The nuts of the sway bar bracket require removal before installing new ones that need to be tightened to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) when the suspension resting position matches the bushing fastener tightening position. The next step requires you to take off the sway bar bracket bolts followed by removing the sway bar brackets along with the sway bar. Install all components at 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.) while maintaining the suspension position. Install and torque the sway bar links to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.) after removing the lower bolts of the sway bar links and taking out the links from the suspension that matches the bushing fastener tightening position. Examine the sway bar bushings and perform replacement only if needed. A suitable jack must lift the suspension to reach the bushing fastener tightening position before any tightening takes place. The technician must measure 395 mm (15.55 inches) between the hub center and fender lip to confirm correctness. Conclude the installation process by executing the steps backwards.

Service and repair of the sway bar link in front suspension requires the initial step to be removal of wheel and tire.
