How to service the MAP Sensor on Ford Fusion?

To service the MAP sensor, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the securing bolt to take out the sensor. Install the new sensor, tightening the bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb-in). If torque is insufficient, use the auxiliary bolt hole. Clean the sealing surface before reinstalling.

How to Service the MAP Sensor on a 2.3L Engine on Ford Ranger?

In order to service the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor in a 2.3L engine, loosen the electrical connector and take the securing bolt off. Carefully remove the MAP sensor off the intake manifold and dispose the O-ring seal. To install, follow the steps in reverse with the exception that you should replace the seal with a new O-ring.
