How to service and repair the left-hand exhaust manifold on 2000 Ford Windstar?

In order to fix the left-hand exhaust manifold, disconnect the battery, lift up the vehicle, and take off the two converter Y-pipes. Remove the exhaust manifold, and then the oil level indicator tube. Replace a new gasket and manifold, screwing in the bolts in two shifts. Install the tube, Y-pipe and reconnect the battery.
