Remove the stoplight switch retaining pin before pulling both the stoplight switch and booster push rod from the brake pedal pin. Before removing the brake pedal-to-accelerator pedal cable by pulling the cable retainer outward it is essential to position both pedals either completely forward or completely rearward for vehicles with adjustable pedals. First disconnect the brake pedal motor electrical connector before removing the retention nuts along with bolts that secure the brake pedal together with its bracket.
