    A: Before servicing the HVAC condenser start by disconnecting the vehicle battery while performing the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure to remove refrigerant. Start by removing the radiator then disconnect the hoses connected to the A/C condenser core using a secondary wrench for line stability during disconnection to avoid damages. Next follow the procedure to disconnect the A/C condenser core by separating its bracket attachments and bolts. Install the condenser unit by following the removal sequence while servicing the new A/C condenser core with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or an equivalent matching Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B. Also apply PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil on all O-ring seals. Replacement of the suction accumulator/drier occurs only when system contamination appears after an A/C compressor failure or suction accumulator/drier physical damage along with testing the A/C condenser core for leaks.
