How to service and repair the lower control arm on 2001 Ford F-150?

In order to access the lower control arm, lift up the car, take off the wheel, brake disc shield, and shock absorber. Unscrew the brake hose bracket, stabilizer bar link, lower ball joint. Take off lower arm and coil spring and re-assemble parts making sure that they are properly aligned and tightened. Lastly, check front end alignment.
