How to Service and Repair the Rear Sway Bar Kit on 2001 Ford Focus?

A necessary first step before working on the rear sway bar kit requires both suspension sides to be set at their design height for safety reasons. Work on both sides of the rear lower arm to detach its sway bar kit before removing its clamp bolts and clamp which leads to sway bar kit and bushing removal. Install the sway bar kit bushings onto their designated positions on the sway bar kit by leaving out any lubrication while aligning the bushing nipple to the left-hand side. After positioning the sway bar kit bushings without lubricant on the left-hand side of the bushing nipple, you must apply water and mount the clamp onto the bushing. Both sides of the sway bar kit need installation before attaching it to the lower arm. Installation ends with lowering the suspension according to design height specifications before adding the spring and remounting the rear wheel.
