How to Service and Repair the Steering Shaft on 2005 Ford Freestar?

To service steering column shaft, be sure the vehicle is on neutral on hoist. De-power SRS, screw up steering wheel, and take out upper and lower intermediate shaft bolts, tightening them, 30 Nm before fitting. Do not allow rotating of the steering column to prevent clock spring damage.
