The wiper switch servicing process on the steering column multifunction switch begins with taking out the steering wheel. First detach the instrumental finish panel along with the steering column upper shroud by removing the screws from the finish panel and pressing the upper shroud sides way from the lower shroud. Next proceed to remove the three screws mounted on the lower steering column shroud followed by removing the lower shroud. Separate the 3 electrical connectors before removing the multifunction switch through the 4 mounting screws. The installation process requires execution of the steps that were used for removal in the reverse order.

The service and repair process for the wiper switch starts by unscrewing the three steering column shroud fasteners followed by upper and lower shroud separation. First disconnect the electrical connector that belongs to the multifunction switch before removing its holding screws. Complete the installation by reversing the removal steps after securing the new switch screws at 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
