How to service the right-hand exhaust manifold on 2005 Mercury Monterey?

In order to service the right hand exhaust manifold, make sure that the car is in neutral position on a hoist. Unscrew the dual converter Y-pipe, heat shield nuts and exhaust manifold nuts to disassemble the manifold. Change gasket, reconnect the manifold and reconnect the heat shield and Y-pipe.
