Start by taking off both connector pipes from the dual converter and then proceed to detach the grille on the cowl panel. Here is the procedure to detach the cowl top panel: Remove the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor while removing the bolts that secure this panel. The next step requires the removal of three heat shield nuts along with the right-hand heat shield component. The right-hand exhaust manifold needs its six exhaust manifold nuts to be unscrewed in order to separate the manifold from the system and you must discard the previous gasket. Fix the right-hand exhaust manifold in position using six nuts which should be tightened to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) according to a particular sequence. Reinstall the right-hand heat shield using three nuts applying 10 Nm of torque force before attaching the cowl top panel and securing its bolts to 6 Nm.
