  A: Service operations on the third row seat cushion start by eliminating the third row seat with its attached backrest. The detachment of latch covers starts with removing screws and pin-type retainers. Pull the J-clips apart while you separate the hook-and-loop fasteners being watchful not to disrupt any part of the hook and loop strip on the seat backrest foam pad. The service requires discarding all remaining hog rings before removing the cushion trim cover then pulling out the foam pads from seat cushion pans. You need to uninstall the bolts from the left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) safety belt buckles while screwing them to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) torque when reinstalling. Lift the two cushion latch cables to release them then pass the handle through the seat pan before detaching the cables from the seat cushion pan clips. Tighten the two RH cushion bolt nuts until torque reaches to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) before reinstalling then secure the two LH cushion bolts to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
