Removal of hood latch To service the hood latch, remove the 8 pin-type retainers and the upper radiator sight shield. Unhook the secondary hood latch release cable, notate the position of the latch, and remove the 2 holding bolts. Reattach, tighten bolts to 12 Nm, reattach the primary cable and verify latch adjustment.
