How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2006 Lincoln Zephyr?

In order to service the ECT sensor, one should start by emptying the cooling system. Then plug out the electrical connector on the sensor. To remove the sensor, press the locking tab upwards and turn the sensor counterclockwise. All you have to do is to reverse the steps to install a new sensor.
