First disconnect the heater tube bracket nut along with the A/C line bracket nut from the dash panel while tightening this second nut to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft) before reinstalling. Start by detaching two heater hose clamps at the heater core location before removing both evaporator inlet and outlet fittings while discarding the O-ring seals. The grommet must be detached then push the vacuum lines into the passenger compartment after disconnecting both vacuum connectors. The installation requires tightening all four nuts of the heater core and evaporator core housing to 9 Nm (80 lb-in). First disable the ground terminal bolt then take out the heater core together with the evaporator core housing.
