How to service and repair the Shift Knob equipped with a 6R75 or 6HP26 transmission on 2007 Ford Expedition?

In order to fix the shift knob in cars with a 6R75 or 6HP26 transmission, take out the Prndl trim, console tray, and cup holder. Removal of the console upper trim screw, remove the shift knob covers, and remove the Tc switch. Install the trim parts and shift knob with due care of attaching covers.
