How to Service and Repair Automatic Transmission Shift Levers on 2007 Ford Fusion?

In order to fix the automatic transmission shift levers, you must remove the center console and unconnect the shift lever cable and electric connector. Unscrew four nuts to take off the shift lever. Install the shift lever once again, reconnect the cable and make sure it is locked. Lastly, put the center console back in place and tighten the cable accordingly.
