The six ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors should be disconnected first followed by a twist to separate the plugs from their mounts while the six bolts are removed from each ignition coil-on-plug unit. Manual tools must be the sole equipment used for both spark plug removal and installation because they protect against cylinder head and spark plug damage. Use compressed air to clean the spark plug well before beginning the removal process of the six spark plugs. Check the condition of the six spark plugs then adjust the spark plugs gap according to specifications before installing them back.
