First detach the clutch field coil electrical connector then loosen the A/C compressor manifold bolt to remove the compressor manifold and tube assembly except O-ring seals need disposal. The manifold bolt installation requires tightening to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft). You must disconnect the compressor suction fitting while replacing its O-ring seals then discard them. Dispense the compressor-to-condenser line fitting nut and detach the fitting before discarding the O-ring and re-torque the fitting to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) during reassembly. The step includes removing the compressor manifold together with the tubes after which you should detach the suction accumulator outlet fitting if needed before discarding all O-ring seals. Follow the necessary process to remove the suction accumulator-to-compressor line only when needed. The installation process ends after reinstalling the fittings while tightening them to 71 lb-in (8 Nm). All work requires new O-ring seals along with PAG oil lubrication using the specified amount of clean oil.
