The first step for servicing the compressor manifold along with tubes starts with refrigerant recovery. Remove the outlet fitting of the suction accumulator and throw away its O-ring seals. The procedure continues by removing the condenser inlet fitting nut followed by disconnecting the fitting while discarding the O-ring seal. When reassembling install the fitting with 8 Nm (71 lb-in) torque value. Unplug the electrical connector of the pressure cutoff switch and also release the fuel line spring lock coupling. Place the bracket nut aside while installation before securing it with 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque. The compressor manifold and tube assembly bracket nut should be removed before reinstallation while tightening it to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). To uninstall the compressor manifold and tube assembly you should loosen the manifold bolt before removing both components while discarding the O-rings and tightening the new installation with 20 Nm torque (15 lb-ft). Perform the reverse steps of removal after installation while installing fresh O-ring seals and applying the required amount of clean PAG oil into the refrigerant system. Evacuation of the refrigeration system follows leak testing then charging with refrigerant.
