How to Service and Repair the Air Filter Box on 2007 Lincoln MKZ?

In order to service the air filter box, disconnect battery ground cable, MAF sensor, and wiring harness. Unscrew outlet pipe fastener, unscrew three bolts, and release the box off the grommets. Re-install through the reverse process by making sure that the seating and closing are done correctly to avoid unmetered air. Screw all connections to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
