The vehicle needs to be positioned in neutral gear on a hoist frame. Use 15 Nm torque when tightening the two wire form bolts while installing them. After the removal of two parking brake cable bracket-to-crossmember bolts you should tighten them to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) during installation. You need to first disconnect the intermediate parking brake cable from the rear right parking brake cable at the parking brake cable equalizer before you disconnect the front of the rear right parking brake cable conduit from the frame bracket. The parking brake lever requires separation from the rear right parking brake cable to remove the component. After reverse installation of the new cable complete the operation check on the parking brake system.
