How to service and repair the starter motor on 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac?

When servicing the starter motor make sure that the vehicle is in neutral and is on a hoist. Unhook the battery ground cable, solenoid cover, and B and S terminal cables and hook them to 12 Nm and 6 Nm, respectively. Take off the starter motor and refit it with a torque of 25 Nm.
