How to service the Oil Pressure Switch on 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

The service for the engine oil pressure (EOP) switch requires the ignition switch to be in OFF position to protect electronic engine controls from damage. The service of the EOP switch requires you to start with air cleaner outlet tube removal followed by disconnecting the electrical connector of the switch. After disconnecting the EOP switch you should discard the old O-ring seal. Installation of the new switch requires the new O-ring seal to get clean engine oil before its placement in position. To finish installing the EOP switch tighten it to 14 Nm (124 lb-in) after which follow the uninstallation steps in reverse order.
