How to Service and Repair the AM/FM Antenna Cable on 2008 Ford Focus?

Starting the AM/FM antenna service process requires first unmounting the audio control module (ACM) to access the front antenna cable that is viable for service though diagrams are omitted. Service the rear cable by starting with C-pillar trim removal and proceeding to RH quarter trim and door scuff plate trim before accessing the antenna cable bolt. To access the antenna cable bolt for the antenna installation you must lower the back of the headliner enough before unbolting the antenna cable from its attachment. Tighten the bolt to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) when reinstallation takes place. First disconnect the front electrical connectors of the AM/FM antenna cable after removing the RH A-pillar lower trim panel. To complete the AM/FM antenna installation follow by removing the cable before performing the reverse steps of installation.
