You should proceed by removing the accessory drive belt from position. First detach the power steering return hose from the fluid reservoir after unclamping the hose then remove the electrical connector from the power steering pressure switch. The power steering pressure line requires removal of its banjo bolt followed by disconnection of the line after discarding the bolt along with two seals. During installation of the banjo bolt maintain a torque of 48 Nm (35 lb-ft). The power steering pump requires removing its three securing bolts before pump removal while the new bolts should be tightened to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft) upon assembly.
