The starter motor solenoid wire should be detached by untwisting its nut before you put the wire aside to reattach later while keeping it tight at 5 Nm (44 lb-in). Start by moving away the terminal cover of the starter motor solenoid battery cable before removing the cable nut and placing it aside with 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque when reinstalling. Take away the wiring harness retainer from the starting motor stud bolt and reserve it with the wiring harness.
