How to Properly Handle the Mass Air Flow Sensor for Maintenance on 2008 Ford Ranger?

To service the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, unscrew the electrical connector and undo the two securing bolts disposing of the old gasket. Install the new sensor, using tightening bolts to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft). Do NOT remove the MAF sensing elements, but change the gasket each time it is reinstalled.
