Service the leaf spring: position the vehicle on a hoist, support the rear axle. Remove lower shock bolt and nut, fit new nut and tighten. Install U-bolts with correct spacing; remove rear U-bolt nuts, U-bolts and plate. Tighten in cross pattern. Replace spring-to-frame and shackle bolts, tighten, reverse to finish.
