How to service the battery cables for the 3.5L engine on 2009 Lincoln MKZ?

To service battery cables on 3.5L engine, discard the battery tray and ground terminal then tighten to 12 Nm before putting it back. Take off starter solenoid cover and terminal and tighten to 12 Nm. Unscrew the transaxle ground terminal, screw to tighten to 10 Nm and the generator B+ terminal, screw to tighten also to 12 Nm. Reverse for installation.
