Begin by taking off the sway bar link nuts and bushings and washers at the lower positions while discarding those nuts. New nuts must be used during installation before torqueing the nuts to 20 Nm among 177 lb-in. Move to the upper sway bar link nuts, washers, bushings, and links before removing them from the vehicle. Dispose of the eliminated nuts while installing new ones which should be tightened to 20 Nm (177 lb-in) torque upon completion. First remove the two sway bar bracket bolts and then take out the two brackets and sway bar before discarding all bracket bolts. New bolts should be used when installing the suspension components but you must apply torque at 30 Nm (22 lb-ft). To finish the installation proceed with the opposite steps of removal. Reassembly requires new fasteners of equivalent part numbers and the exact torque measurements according to specifications for ensuring optimal performance and safety outcomes. The rear suspension arms need to have their fasteners oriented according to their original positions.
