How to Service and Repair the A/C Clutch on Ford Focus?

In order to fix the compressor clutch, disconnect the accessory drive belt and hold down the A/C compressor. Disassemble the electrical connector, drive plate, and pulley, and pull off the clutch field coil. Install the new parts with care giving attention to alignment and re-connect all parts including the drive belt.
