Start the HVAC condenser core repair by taking out first the engine air cleaner and outlet tubes and then the upper radiator air deflector. Start by disconnecting the condenser fittings that need the fitting nuts removed along with discarding O-ring seals and gasket seals because you should tighten new seals to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft) when you install them. After bracket bolt removal from the four radiator supports you should also remove both radiator brackets which should receive a torque of 20 Nm (15 lb-ft) when reinstalling. Detach the two bolts from the condenser brackets and disconnect both brackets before installing them correctly at 12 Nm (9 lb-ft). Move the radiator backward until you generate sufficient clearance for removing the condenser core while maintaining protection of its cooling fins. The condenser core removal process should be reversed for installation while utilizing new gasket seals and O-ring seals and applying clean PAG oil to the correct amount for the refrigerant system. Evacuation follows by leak testing which leads to refrigerant charging of the system.
