How to service the heater core on Ford E-150?

In order to service the heater core, empty the coolant and un-clip the hoses. Take out the instrument panel finish panel, bolts and screws and then remove the heater core. To install, do it in reverse and clean the hoses, as well as the engine cooling system.

How to service the auxiliary heater core on Ford E-150?

To change the auxiliary heater core, empty the engine cooling system, strip off LH quarter trim panel and heater core cover, undo hose connections and take out core. Reassemble in reverse order, grease hoses where necessary and fill up cooling system. Check leakage in case there is suspicion of leakage.
