Start by removing all components associated with the transmission fluid cooler. You should follow these steps to detach the cooler first by using the clamp to remove the steering gear-to-fluid return hose then using the clamp to detach the power steering cooler-to-reservoir hose. Remove two power steering cooler bolts then remove the cooler from its position. To install the cooler use bolts at 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) followed by performing the reverse removal steps. The system requirements completion must be followed by a leak test.
